Macy + Alexis had not one, but TWO special and romantic wedding days in two beautiful places.
Their first wedding took us to Aspen, Colorado where they had an intimate ceremony (just us three) at Maroon Bells during sunrise. It was ethereal. Despite some hilarious mishaps (getting lost, taking an extra long accidental hike, Macy wearing my "Tired Momma" sleep mask so she didn't see Alexis and evil ducks attempting to hijack the ceremony), the love, joy and excitement between the two was incredibly evident throughout the day. It was a perfect way to begin their married life.
A month later, they celebrated with their family and friends in Alexis's home state of Arkansas at the stunning Houston's wedding venue in Brookfield, Arkansas. The attention to detail and making the entire day unique to them made everything all the more special. Large wedding parties, temporary tattoos, a stunning outdoor ceremony officiated by a sentimental friend, drag queens to kick off the reception and a special moment away for more portraits made it so memorable. I am so lucky to have captured both of their beautiful days for them (and to have traveled to two new lovely places)!

"I don't think I have enough words for one review to explain how much we loved having Amy as our photographer. When my wife proposed to me, one of the first things I did was text Amy and ask if she would like to take our elopement photos in Colorado - she immediately was ready for the adventure! We exchanged ideas, set a plan, then some months later, I decided I wanted a "traditional" wedding too.
Amy never missed a beat; she was right there during the planning process, offering help when needed or just a hand to hold during stressful times!
Our elopement was intimate, so sweet, and the pictures are otherworldly. Our wedding back home was so fun and traditional, surrounded by our friends and family - and the pictures are JUST as gorgeous!!!
